What is a Permanent Placement ?
A permanent placement of a nanny is a long term care situation. This is typically when your children are very young, and
you would like to keep the same person employed for over one year or more and a stable alternative to Day Care.
What are your fees for this type of Service?
We charge a flat placement fee $1400. The fee covers applications & recruiting costs. It is paid in 2 installments, the first
is the $250. (non-refundable fee) which will be applied to the agency fee. The second is the balance for the permanent
placement fee.
What does the $250.00 Non Refundable Family application fee cover?
This fee covers all the research done on the caregivers and all administrative costs involving the recruiting process.
Nannies Salary
Nannies usually make anywhere from $12.00 -$18.00 an hour and up depending on the families needs. Some Families
offer a "Weekly Salary" instead of an hourly salary.
Do I need to withhold taxes for my nanny?

Do you offer Temp care?
YES! Temporary Sitting services are offered in the East Bay area and South Eastern MA. This service is available to our
Clients for hotels, events, weddings, temporary care, sick child care, pet sitting and chef services. Contact us at

Where do you find the Nannies?
The Nannies find us, for the most part, from advertisements and recruiters. All nannies and caregivers are personally
interviewed and given an application and childcare questionnaire to fill out. They must have at least 2 years childcare
experience and 4 references. All references are throughly verified .
Are background checks done?
YES.
On each Candidate before they are allowed to start work in your home, they MUST have total agency
clearance. Background Checks include: Criminal History Reports, Social Security Trace, Sexual offender Registry
Verification, DMV Reports (Driving Record) References are verified. A copy of all ID is kept on file for extra security
purposes.
What if the nanny does not work out?
Employee Replacements. Nannies and Much More offers replacement coverage for up to 1 year.
What benefits are generally offered to a Nanny?
Benefit packages for Nannies are not mandated by the agency or by law. HOWEVER, as in any
employment situation, the retention rate is higher as a overall statistic. (Some typical benefits offered are Medical
Insurance, Paid Vacations, Paid Major Holidays
